Corrections
We would rather be corrected than be wrong quietly.
If you spot a factual error — a specification that is wrong, a study we have characterised badly, a product that has changed since we wrote about it — tell us and we will check it. If we got it wrong, we fix the article and note at the top of it what changed and when. We do not quietly edit a mistake out of existence and pretend it was never there.
The same goes for our disclosures. If you find an affiliate link on this site that is not properly marked, that is a mistake we want to know about immediately.
What we do and do not accept
To save everyone time:
- We do not accept guest posts. Every article is written by one of our five editors.
- We do not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, or paid links. No amount of money will put a product in an article, move it up a list, or remove a criticism from it.
- We do not publish press releases.
- We do not guarantee coverage in exchange for a review unit, and we do not accept one on the condition that we write about it.
What we do welcome: corrections, product information we can verify, research we may have missed, and questions about anything we have published. Our full editorial rules are on the Editorial Standards page, and how we make money is set out in the Affiliate Disclosure.
Where to find us
We are on X and Instagram. For now the five of us share one account for the publication; individual accounts for each editor are coming.
What to expect
We are a small team and we read everything, but we cannot always reply. Expect a few days for a normal enquiry, and sooner for a correction — those go to the front of the queue.
We cannot give personalised advice by email. If your question is medical, veterinary, or about a specific injury, please speak to a professional who can actually examine the situation — see section 8 of our Terms of Use for why.
